FABIO GIGLI
He took his degree in architecture in Rome 1973 and has been working with design since 1975.

He’s particularly interested in working environment issues and in 1978 he won the ABET PRINT prize for the coordinate system of furniture and indoor divisions for house and office.
Since 1979 he’s been working both for the house and the office with ESTEL (“Compasso d’oro” competition 1984), FARAM and MECO in Italy, STEEL CASE in the USA; SATO, the first Greek firm in the office industry, while paying particularly attention to the ergonomics problems in the collective environment (sessions, working meetings etc...)
In the meanwhile he works also for the design of Show rooms and Stands in Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany, U.K. and USA, where he designs hotel and bank furniture.
He works together specialized magazines as Interni, ufficio, Ufficio Style, Office Layout, Word in office.

Since 1988 he’s holder of a chair in Marketing and communication at the ISIA University of Urbino. In his studios of Terni and Milano he works together with BESANA, DALL’AGNESE, ITALCOMMA, MISURA EMME, OVER UP, both as designer and consultant.
